For those like myself who know nothing about the ECO system I had a quick look in the new C4 Picasso handbook on the service.citroen site (documentation de bord, select language and then the car ). The ECO system is the STOP / START system which should reduce fuel use in stop/start town driving conditions.
Took that thing off (fairly easily), it was one wire on that plastic connector that goes into base, unit, that has all bulbs in it. Looked like it was melt a bit. Use some very small screwdriver and tried to clean that plastic. Then, used some WD40 (as I didnt have contact cleaner), leaved it for 15 min, then, connected all again.

Jul 6, 2015 · Just joined the forum. I have a 3.5 year old C4 Grand Picasso with 77k kms on board. The car was running fine before I went on vacation for 4 weeks. But as I returned back and started my Vehicle. I am getting Engine fault Message, with Service and Eco Off blinking. The Faults are intermittent, but Eco is not working.
